Welcome to EquiStories (the "Website"). By accessing or using our website, simulation game, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use this Website.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or play this game. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account details. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.
The Website features a virtual in-game currency (Buxx) used solely to track progress and unlock features within the simulation.
No Real-World Value: This currency is a completely fictional element of the game. It is not real money, holds no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, redeemed, or refunded for real-world fiat currency, cash, goods, or services from the website owners or any third party.
Forfeiture: Any virtual currency balances are a limited, revocable license for in-game use. They will be permanently forfeited without liability if your account is terminated, suspended, or if the website closes.
We offer an optional paid upgrade to a Premium Membership.
Subscription Authorization: By purchasing a Premium Membership, you authorize EquiStories to charge your selected payment method a recurring fee of $8 every Month until you cancel.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the payment platform. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your renewal at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Following cancellation, you will retain premium access until the end of your current paid billing period.
Modification of Perks: A Premium Membership grants you access to specific digital perks within the game. We reserve the right to modify, change, rebalance, or remove any premium perks, features, or bonuses at any time to maintain game balance. Premium status does not guarantee uninterrupted website uptime.
All Premium Membership transactions, automatic renewals, and recurring tier billing are facilitated through our third-party platform page hosted by Ko-fi and processed via Stripe or PayPal.
Merchant of Record: By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you are paying the website owners directly via the connected payment processors. Ko-fi does not process payments, hold funds, or mediate billing disputes.
Chargebacks and Disputes: Any billing discrepancies or unauthorized charges must be directed to our support team at equistoriesadmin@gmail.com. Initiating a bank chargeback or payment processor dispute without contacting us first will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your simulation game account and forfeiture of all virtual assets.
Premium Membership benefits and virtual currency items are delivered digitally and instantly to your account upon a successful transaction. Because these digital perks are fully unlocked and consumed upon activation, all purchases of Premium Memberships and virtual assets are strictly non-refundable. No partial refunds or credits will be issued for unused days of a subscription.
Ownership: All content on this Website, including game code, text, graphics, logos, and simulation algorithms, is the property of EquiStories or its content creators and is protected by copyright laws.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use bots, scripts, hacks, or macro programs to automate gameplay or manipulate the fake currency economy. You may not exploit bugs or glitches for personal gain.
This simulation game and all virtual assets are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
No Guarantees: The website owners are not responsible for server downtime, data loss, glitches, software bugs, database corruption, or the accidental deletion of virtual currency and account progress.
Maximum Liability: In no event shall the website owners, partners, or affiliates be liable for any damages exceeding the total amount paid by you to us for your Premium Membership in the past six (6) months.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of major changes by posting a notice on the Website homepage or updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
